Hey Jewel Fans, we have an exciting event to share!
By now, we expect that you’ve all heard about the shiny new graphic novel from Maverick that launched this week. Seriously, go pick it up and support Jewel Riders’ first new official media in decades! (And then listen to our fun interview with the comic creators here.)
One of the comic’s creators – Editor Lauren Hitzhusen – teamed up with the Houston Toy Museum to create an amazing launch party for the graphic novel. Part of the museum’s “Saturday Morning Cartoon Cereal Party,” the museum will be showing episodes of Jewel Riders, eating delicious cereal, and even showcasing part of Chris’s JRA collection!

Sadly, Chris and Ronnie will not be able to attend in person – they’re lost in the Wild Magic! – but we’re celebrating this huge milestone in spirit with Jewel Fans around the country and across the globe. Ronnie dropped the toys off and had a chance to visit with Lauren and Matt from the Houston Toy Museum and unbox the Jewel Riders collectibles that will be on display!
Happy launch week for Jewel Riders! This feels like it has been so long in coming, and we could not be more excited that the comic is finally getting into hands of fans everywhere! Jewel Power!
